love in layers <3
Love is a word so brief, so simple—just four letters, a fleeting whisper. And yet, within its quiet form, it holds depths beyond measure. Love is never a single stroke, a singular shade, or a solitary moment. It exists in layers—woven through time, shaped by memory, deepened by presence.
Each layer carries something different: the tenderness of beginnings, the ache of distance, the weight of devotion, the warmth of understanding. Some layers are translucent, barely there, while others are thick with history, textured with experience. Together, they create something whole, something felt but never fully seen.
In this project, the phrase "I love you" is deconstructed and layered upon itself—each letter folding over the next, intertwining and overlapping like love itself. Just as love cannot be confined to a single moment or feeling, these words refuse to remain flat or singular. Their meaning deepens with every repetition, every layer revealing what was once hidden beneath.
Through light and shadow, depth and texture, I seek to reveal the many dimensions of love, reminding us that even the simplest words can carry the most profound emotions.
